A way to play only a sample of a music product

I would like to use one of the fancy product displays for a web page selling mp3 products. What I would like to achieve is a display that could feature the description of the product and also allow the customer to play only a sample of the track rather than the whole track as happens with Fancy8. Also with Fancy8 if the title of the track is long enough to wrap to a second line the text box does not expand to allow the second line to be read properly.

That is a very good idea. I could try to do something if you use the fancy 12 template:

That one uses our audio player plugin so I can add a feature in that audio player plugin to make this possible. Will you be okay to use product display template 12?

Yes I would be willing to use the fancy 12 template. If it would not be too cumbersome could it also display the product thumbnail. Thank you.

I probably won’t change the way fancy 12 template looks like because a lot of users are already using it and they don’t want it changed. I could create another new display template a thumbnail. Do you have an example of what you are after (I mean how you want the product display to look like)?
