Hi, PDF Stamper is working fine for most of our files (eBooks), but there is one file (and I suspect there may be others) that is stamped too far from the bottom and too close to the left border. Do you have any idea why this happens?
Thanks
Is the PDF file (the one that has the issue with stamping position) different in size?
No, it is the same size. Now I found another strange thing: in one file, the stamp is at the right position on the first page, but at the wrong position on all the other pages.
That is strange. I will take a look inside your site. Please see the email that I sent you.
I’m also having the same issue. How do we resolve this?
Please give an example of what happens in your case. What is the dimension of your PDF file?
In my case I tried 4 different PDFs and the stamp was located in the footer on each one & aligned to the left, but some had the stamp a few rows above or below compared to the others. The PDF is a compiled journal with the 1st two pages being in landscape for the cover, and the rest in portrait. I’m wondering if the PDF Stamper won’t stamp properly if some of the pages in the PDF are different sizes?
Yeah it will have a problem if the SAME document has different page dimension. All of the pages of a document needs to have the same dimension (be consistent). Different files can have different page sizes but it can’t handle different page sizes within the same document (no stamping engine can handle that efficiently).
Oh okay, thank you. Also, is there a way to set different stamping locations for different PDFs?
No unfortunately.
