I’m getting this error message when adding products to the cart and when viewing the cart.

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /var/sites/r/redhuttrading.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/eStore_cart.php on line 480

It was working, but for some reason its now not.

I have disabled / deleted and reinstalled the app to no avail.

Any help would be great?

Does it happen for any product, or just a particular one?

Please provide a test link and instructions on how to reproduce the error.

I have just started setting things up and have two test products, one with a picture one without.

As I said, this was working prior but now there seems to be some sort of corruption, but cant seem to see where

The error line points to a shipping amount related issue. Did you edit the individual item and specify any shipping value there? Just for a test, what happens if you enter a shipping value of 5 in the “Item Shipping Cost” field of the product? Do you see the same error after that?

Thanks for that. I have set the item shipping price to 5 and now do not see the message.

I read somewhere that if I am using Base Shipping and products with both additional shipping and no extra shipping, i should set the Product Shipping price 0.001?

I am having the exact same problem. Changing shipping values doesn’t seem to change anything (I actually want no shipping as they are all digital products). Seems to only have changed since adding a ssl certificate. Does that change anything?

The error only seems to show up in my chrome browser. explorer/edge is clear.

Is the value for the product shipping field empty? Blanks and zeros ARE NOT the same as “empty.”

Please provide a link to your site and instructions, on what to do, so that we can observe the issue.

I have tried blank, zero and 5, none of them get rid of the error message. The shipping values are currently blank. The page I am seeing the error is here [https://www.piwakawakavalley.com/checkout/]

And it turns out I only see it when I am logged in to wordpress. If I log out it seems to disappear but returns when I log in again.

I see some caching issue happening on your site.

What caching solution are you using?

Also, please go to the following settings menu of the plugin and turn off the ajax option:

eStore Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Enable Ajax on Add to Cart Buttons

I have just swapped hosting, and the new host uses Rocket cache. I have turned it off, and the estore is working much better. Is there a trick to get it to play nicely with rocket or should I move back to W3?

Ajax now off.

You can do the same thing for Rocket cache.

#1) Go to the following interface of rocket cache.

Advanced Settings -> Don't cache pages that use the following cookies

#2) Then enter the following in that field:

ap_id

cart_in_use

eMember_in_use

Hi there, I am having a similar problem to everyone else on this forum section. The message I keep receiving when I add a product to the cart is as follows: Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /home2/waawcg0aam7q/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/eStore_cart.php on line 480

I have deactivated, re-installed, and checked all shipping values, disabled Ajax (now re-enabled) etc as suggested. Unfortunately, I keep receiving the same message. I would be grateful if someone could advise what I can do.
