    Hi!

I am just switching our website over to the shopping cart plugin (WP E Store), but for some reason it is adding $4.50 shipping and handling once I get to the part where I’m prompted to log into paypal. None of my products should have any shipping costs applied. I don’t have the apply paypal shipping turned on. I have the base shipping set to 0, and the individual item shipping is 0 as well.

    Any ideas?

Okay, I have this sorted. I had some shipping options set up in Paypal from a previous business and it was applying those flat rate shipping costs EVEN THOUGH I did not have Use PayPal Profile Based Shipping checked.

Just thought you’d like to know FYI. I just cleared my settings at paypal and now I’m not having any problems.

This problem is still happening. Version 6.1.4. Wp-estore it is set to ignore Paypal settings but it still grabs from Paypal unless you go into Paypal and clear all the settings and ignore Paypal settings.

Hi, If you have PayPal profile based shipping configured in your profile but want to override the shipping value by passing shipping from the shopping cart then this is what PayPal suggests:

You need to enable the shipping override within your PayPal account Profile. To do this:

Log into your PayPal account receiving the payments

    Select the Profile

    Select the Postage Calculations

Check the box to ‘allow transaction-based shipping values to override the profile shipping settings’ for your override to work.

This will allow your cart shipping settings to override anything set in the profile for shipping.
