I am trying to update the General Settings in the Affiliate platform, but I keep getting a 404 error for this link:
Could someone please advise? Thanks!
Could someone please help me with this? I’m so frustrated not being able to use the plugin.
Amin, who is best able to assist you, is in the GMT+10 timezones. Please be patient.
If you need “emergency access” to your WP admin dashboard, you could try using FTP to delete the Affiliate plugin directory; but that would also destroy any evidence of what might be going on.
Thanks. Looking forward to the reply.
Got it fixed. Got the hosting guys to fix my mod security rule issue.
How did you fix it?
I am getting the same issue it redirects to 404 page. Whats the quick fix for this?
This could be coming from a plugin conflict. Please do this test:

I get the same 404 error and it seems to be associated with WordPress Firewall 2. Is there anyway to white list the affiliate plugin so that they can be used together?
Uncheck the following option from the FireWall 2 plugin and that should help:
Block WordPress specific terms (wp_, user_login, etc.) in application parameters.
It is annoying to have that option which makes it to any other plugin can’t use the “wp_” keyword. In a WordPress system, it is common for plugin developers to use “wp_” as a shorthand for WordPress.
I am also getting the same 404 error and cannot update the basic settings. I tried deactivating a few of the less-used plugins on our site, but the rest we use regularly. Can I get help taking a look at what’s going on??
What version of the affiliate plugin are you using? Are you using any firewall plugin?
This is most likely coming from a mod security rule issue on your server. Who is your hosting provider?
Please do the test mentioned in the following post and let me know how that goes:
