2Checkout chargeback – need to delete commission to Affiliate

So I had a customer do a chargeback through 2Checkout which is extremely annoying as it is for a digital product they already received.

Because it goes through 2 checkout, how do I get the Affiliate commission to not show up and also to delete the customer from our records? I’ve seen other posts but they all specify using PayPal?

PayPal automatically sends a notification when a chargeback happens and the plugin can take appropriate measure when it receives that notification (example: delete the customer record). As far as I know 2Checkout doesn’t send a notification like that (the plugin has no way of knowing that a chargeback was filed if the payment gateway does not send a notification for it). First, go to your manager customers menu and search with the customer’s email address to find the record so you can delete it manually. Do the same for the affiliate commission. Then ask 2checkout to see if they an option to notify the chargeback via an IPN.

Where do I find the Affiliate url to insert into 2checkout..

2checkout example is below:

Affiliate URL – Input the URL provided by your third party affiliate program. Example:https://affiliate.com/sale.cgi?order=$a_order&total=$a_total&product=$a_product&quantity=$a_quantity
