I am using the wp ultimate plugin. Video streams fine for me and many other users but some are getting the below error. I can’t work out why the video works for most users but not others. They are a mix of IE, Chrome and Firefox users:
200, Stream not found, NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound, clip: ‘[Clip] ‘http://60dayccnapaid.s3.amazonaws.com/cram.mp4?AWSAccessKeyId=1EYN32DVM8C0WJQ3DMG2&Expires=1325805685&Signature=RTDDc7jmVUMhyiPRWOnpDYlmhE4%3D
Code on a sample page (this is a protected membership site)
[wp_lightbox_protected_s3_video name=”cram.mp4″ bucket=”60dayccnapaid” width=”700″ height=”400″ source=”http://www.in60days.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/cram.jpg”%5D
January 30, 2012 at 4:59 am #41360wpCommerceModeratorHi, Are you using the shortcode on a protected page? If so you should try it on a normal page until you get this working.
This post might help you troubleshoot the issue –

January 30, 2012 at 12:34 pm #41361paulwbrowningMemberYes, protected page by digital access page but it is working fine for most members but others get the streaming error. XP,Vista, Windows 7 and various browsers but some just can’t get it working.
they url and keys must be correct or it wouldn’t play for anyone.
cheers

January 31, 2012 at 5:23 am #41362wpCommerceModeratorWhat version of the plugin are you using?
Do you have a test account that I can use to check it out?

February 1, 2012 at 4:57 am #41367wpCommerceModeratorHi, I couldn’t play the video using different browsers. So there is definitely something wrong. We will have to troubleshoot it step by step.
First, please go through the checklist here –
http://docs.amazonwebservices.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/BucketRestrictions.html?r=9309
Just a quick question, what value did you specify in the AWS S3 Video URL Expiry Time After Page Load field?
February 1, 2012 at 12:48 pm #41368paulwbrowningMemberThat field is blank at the moment.
I checked the amazon page and I can’t see any violations. It works well for most users but several are having issues.
Regards
Paul
February 2, 2012 at 5:35 am #41369wpCommerceModeratorWe already have a check in the plugin. So if you don’t specify any Expiry time the plugin should set it to 300 (5 minutes). But we don’t want to take any risk. Just specify a value there example – 300 or 600 (10 minutes).
Can you please create another bucket with a simple name e.g. – “test” and upload your video to it? (we just want to rule out every possibility)
Once you have done it embed the shortcode on a post/page and share the link.
February 2, 2012 at 5:53 am #41370wpCommerceModeratorHi, I just had a look at some of your pages again –
http://www.in60days.net/members/days-1-to-10/day-1-networkdevices/
http://www.in60days.net/members/days-1-to-10/day-2-osi-model/
They are all working (I’ve tried with different browsers). Did you make any changes to these pages? Are these the same videos you had issue with before? Do they share the same bucket?
February 2, 2012 at 9:22 am #41371paulwbrowningMemberHi,
no changes. All my training videos in the same bucket. I haven’t set any timeout values so far. I only disabled a plugin called WP Super Cache. I had to enable it at the insistance of my ISP but Digital Access Pass said it may cause members to be reset to day 1 of the dripped contnet.
However, members still have issues with the videos as of 7 hours ago so I will add the timeout value but none of them have it yet and most play fine.
Regards
paul
February 2, 2012 at 1:39 pm #41372wpCommerceModeratorI’m not sure if caching had anything to do with it. But it’s good to keep it deactivated for now. Try using a higher value for Expiry time because your members might take a while to go through all the videos and by that time some links are likely to get expired. Let me know if you have any further issue.
February 2, 2012 at 6:49 pm #41373paulwbrowningMemberwill do thanks
