The default behavior for the forgot password option is to show an overlay where the members can reset their password. You can change this behavior and use a specific page for the forgot/reset password functionality of your site.
Do the following (this is also specified in the help text of the forgot password field):
Step 1) Create a new WordPress page (You can give it any name you want)
Step 2) Place the following shortcode in this newly created page.
[wp_eMember_password_reset]
Step 3) Now specify the URL of that page (refer to step 1) in the “Password Reset Page” field of eMember settings (look in the “Pages/Forms Settings” tab).
