I’m having a developer set up an integration using the 3rd party integration features of the plugin. While he works on it, is it ok if I install the plugin on my staging site (which is a different domain than the site I intend to use it on)? Will it effect my license? Please advise, thank you
February 10, 2019 at 2:50 am #79187wzpModeratorWhen you are ready to activate the live site; simply deactivate the existing license on your staging site. DO NOT deactivate or delete the staging site plugin, before deactivating your license.
You also have the option to purchase a second license; which will allow you to keep both sites active at the same time.
February 12, 2019 at 1:45 pm #79188mikecMemberOk, thank you for the information, much appreciated. Is there a way to receive email notification of new replies on the forum?

February 12, 2019 at 3:58 pm #79190mikecMemberYes, I did that when I made the post, but it did not seem to trigger an email notification of your reply. I checked my spam folder too.
February 13, 2019 at 1:13 am #79191wzpModeratorThe “From” address should look like:
admin@tipsandtricks-hq.com via elite2454.inmotionhosting.com
Maybe your email provider is filtering emails that are aliased.
We “think” your email server is refusing to accept messages that have “DKIM failures.” If you don’t understand DKIM failures, please consult with your hosting provider.
February 13, 2019 at 7:43 pm #79192mikecMemberI use Google GSuite for business for email. I can say for certain that I have not received any emails about forum post notifications in any of my email boxes, including spam. Nothing came up. Are you saying that Google is preventing your email from reaching my inbox? I’ve never experienced that before.
February 13, 2019 at 7:48 pm #79193wzpModeratorAre you using Gsuite to handle your domain’s email?
February 13, 2019 at 7:50 pm #79194mikecMemberYes, that’s correct, since 2008

DKIM: ‘FAIL’ with domain tipsandtricks-hq.com
But it still accepted the message. Could you please check with Gsuite support and ask them how DKIM sender domain failures are handled?
February 13, 2019 at 10:06 pm #79196mikecMemberOk, I chatted with GSuite support and the guy had me add some things with your IP address and email(s) So please reply again and I will see if I get the email notification this time

February 14, 2019 at 4:12 pm #79198mikecMemberI see you replied 17 hours ago, but not because I received an email notification from the forum. Nothing came in As far as the forum goes, all I needed to do to get the email notifications of new replies was to add the topic to my favorites, correct? I’ll have to check with Google support again about this.
I also have a personal email address. Is it possible to change my email address to that here on the forum? Seems like it would be easier if the email notifications work with personal gmail instead of hosted domain gmail.

You can “self edit” your forum profile email address.
I have personal knowledge that Gsuite mail has DKIM/SPF issues. When it was “Google Apps for Work,” a “very famous” attorney I know (you see him on CNN) discovered that email from the DOJ was never getting to him. The issue was caused bu a combination of SPF & DKIM conflicts; but Google “fixed it,” very quickly, under threat of litigation.
February 15, 2019 at 1:12 am #79200mikecMemberI chatted with Google again about this. He told me it can take 24-48 hours for changes made in the admin console to take effect. In the meantime, he had me add x@tipsandtricks-hq.com and tipsan5@elite2454.inmotionhosting.com to my contacts.
They told me to advise you to set up your domain’s DKIM records so that your emails are authenticated on your end. That was the content of the message header you sent to me, that your mail was not authenticated because of DKIM.
Do the forum notifications come from one of those two email addresses above?
