Hi! I’ve checked the “use PayPal profile based shipping” on the payment gateway page. I’ve checked my PayPal set-up and it is properly set up to calculate shipping based on weight. I have added values for weight in all of my products. Using the sandbox testing area, when I click the “Check out w/ PayPal” button, it has me log in and it processes the transaction, but it never asks for a zipcode, and it doesn’t add shipping. Searched the forums, but couldn’t find a similar posting.
Side note: is it possible to have more than 10 instances of a search result show up. I ended up manually going through all the troubleshooting pages to see if there was any info.

Most of the time this happens when you don’t configure the profile based tax properly in your PayPal account profile. If you post a link to the page where you have the buy buttons I will be able to do some checking and give you more info.
Thanks! Problem solved itself. I realized that the preconfigured business setup in sandbox probably didn’t have the shipping profile set up like my real one. So,I unchecked the option to be in sandbox mode on the settings page. In real life, when I go to checkout with PayPal, it does ask for the zip code. So, all is well!
I am having the same problem with sandbox. Can you explain how to fix this without changing to “real” Paypal? I have taxes and shipping calculations set but they do not show up upon checkout.
Never mind, I had the wrong email in the PayPal Email/Merchant ID.
