Hi –
On my protected content page, the following appears to those not loged in:
“Please Login to view this Content.(Not a member? Join Today!)”
But, when you click on the “Login”, nothing happens.

Thanks,

August 30, 2010 at 11:58 pm #23851wpCommerceModeratorHi, When I hover mouse on the “login” link it doesn’t show any link and looks like the link is actually blank. Can you please make sure that you entered the “login page” URL correctly in the “page settings” of eMember?
August 31, 2010 at 2:56 am #23852amin007ParticipantCan you uncheck the “Enable Fancy Login Widget” option from the settings menu of the plugin and give it a go?
August 31, 2010 at 1:39 pm #23853njevicSpectatorThanks – that did it. don’t know why I checked “Fancy…”
Great plugin BTW. Use it with the eStore.
September 18, 2012 at 6:49 am #23854advexpMemberRegarding protected page message — [http://www.irecite.org/locations/]
When you click on “Login” link, the URL goes to [http://www.irecite.org/locations/?event=login] (generating an error) instead of the URL saved in eMember settings “Pages/Forms Settings” – [http://www.irecite.org/login/]. I don’t have have “fancy login widget” enabled. I also tried deleting the login widget on the right nav bar that you see on the home page, but this same problem persisted after doing so.
WordPress vs 3.4.2
eMember vs 8.2.1
Thanks! Chris
September 19, 2012 at 12:16 am #23855adminKeymasterURL rewriting is not working on your site so the inline login widget display is not working. Go to eMember settings and check the following option and it won’t try to show an inline login widget anymore:
Disable Inline Login Widget Option
October 30, 2012 at 11:32 pm #23856ocicepSpectatorHello,
i have update wp emember to the latest version. After the update i have the same problem as njevic abow. I have deactivated fancy login and try again. This time i click on login and the member can see that protected content but if the member will go to other protected content then apears again this one “Please Login to view this Content.(Not a member? Join Today!)” and member must try login again to see the protected content. How can i resolve this issue…

October 31, 2012 at 4:52 am #23857adminKeymasterHi, there may be a PHP session or caching issue you on your site. Are you using any caching plugin? Please share details of a test eMember account so I can try to login as a member and see what you are seeing.
October 31, 2012 at 4:56 pm #23858ocicepSpectatorHi again, i do not use any PHP caching plugings. I have send to you a mail with a member account and my admin account. Maybe you would see my wp emember settings and installed plugins.
Thanks
Hakan
November 1, 2012 at 4:51 am #23859adminKeymasterThank you I have checked your site and it turned out that you have a slight configuration issue. You have enabled the Auto WP User Login feature but this eMember user doesn’t have a corresponding WP User account. This is why it was failing. Turn off the auto WP User login feature if you don’t intend to create WP user account for each member using that other feature.

Your site is in a foreign language (I can’t read or navigate it). What am I suppose to see?
Are you saying that when you click the login link, nothing happens? Are you clicking login link on a protected post/page?

May 20, 2016 at 4:07 am #23864adminKeymasterHave you enabled the “Enable Fancy Login Widget” option in the settings by any chance? If you did please disable it. Then tell me if the login link works or not.
Your site has many JavaScript errors (coming from other plugins or theme) so that fancy login won’t work. The following post will help you see the errors on your site (that I am talking about)
