Just moved servers and backed up wordpress the way their site suggests and migrated everything over. Everything wordpress related works perfect and all plugins other than the store as it won’t recognize the categories or products. I check the mysql database to make sure everything got backed up and moved over and looks to all be there and correct however in the admin area nothing shows. Through reading some threads I saw noted to deactivate and reactivate to see if any errors occurred and sure enough there were.
“The plugin generated 1178 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”
Anyone know what may be the issue and a fix? The domain name and tables did change names slightly however were updated through wpconfig file and our found by wordpress and working correctly.
September 14, 2010 at 9:56 pm #24315wzpModeratorIf the domain name “slightly changed,” did you remember to account for this in your eStore product settings?
September 15, 2010 at 12:52 am #24316wpCommerceModeratorCan you please make sure that you moved all the tables created by WP eStore? If you don’t the plugin won’t be able to retrieve any product you added earlier. Please have a look at the following post for more information on moving database –
September 15, 2010 at 2:10 pm #24317danscreationsMemberThe domain information was changed in both wordpress settings and wp estore settings. I made sure all the tables were transferred and I don’t see anything missing. My database name, and user did have to change but this was updated in wordpress which it found, authentication, and functions perfect.
Here are print screens of the database table lists.

September 15, 2010 at 2:50 pm #24318wzpModeratorDid you follow these instructions?
September 15, 2010 at 7:33 pm #24319danscreationsMemberDid it just that way…as noted everything else is functioning correctly. The tables exist, the products within the tables exist just the plugin won’t recognize it’s own tables for some reason.
September 16, 2010 at 1:51 am #24320IvyMemberHi, After you made the transfer did you make sure to deactivate and reactivate the plugin?
September 16, 2010 at 6:20 pm #24321danscreationsMemberIvy – posted that I had done that in the very first post. It does give me an error which is also listed but everything seems to function correcly other than the plugin to the database seeing each other even though they both exsist.
September 16, 2010 at 10:32 pm #24322IvyMemberHi, Sorry about that The following post will explain the error that is happening:
Let’s try one more thing after you read the above post about the error you are receiving.
But first a few questions.
1. What version of the plugin are you using?
2. Do you have the OZH’ Admin Drop Down Menu installed on your site?
Please try uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling it as mentioned in the above post I linked to.
September 20, 2010 at 8:21 pm #24323pdelisleMemberI am having a similar problem. eShop doesn’t save products.
September 21, 2010 at 2:29 am #24324amin007Participant@pdelisle, This post should help you with that:

September 21, 2010 at 9:31 pm #24325danscreationsMemberI submitted for an updated copy to use which was the current version I had however will act and a truly fresh copy. I uploaded it copying over all the other files and deactivited and reactivited the plugin. I no longer have any errors however products are still not being found…
what is the deal? this is truly frustrating as all of them exists in the database!
September 22, 2010 at 1:18 am #24326amin007ParticipantIf you add a new test product from the “Add/Edit Products” menu on your new site does it appear in the “Manage Products” section?
September 22, 2010 at 1:05 pm #24327danscreationsMemberIf I add a new product it tells me that it has been successfully added and then doesn’t show up anywhere including manage products. I have done this prior and I also looked through the mysql tables and it doesn’t add it to the existing table(s) nor create a new one. So the data is lost in lala land somewhere.
September 23, 2010 at 2:57 am #24328amin007ParticipantSomething is wrong here. Somehow the database is not connected… Let me know if you can do the following:
1) Export the content of the eStore tables from PHPMyAdmin.
2) Now delete all the eStore tables from PHPMyAdmin
3) Deactivate and delete eStore from your server.
4) Install a fresh copy of eStore.
5) Create a product from the “Add/Edit Products” Menu.
Does the recently added product show up in the “Manage Products” menu?
If it does then import the content of the previously exported data into the existing eStore tables.
