Hi – I’m wondering if there is a way to integrate eStore into a static (non-wordpress) site.
Would the best solution, outside of just doing the site in WordPress, be to create a link to an “order page” created in WordPress and just complete the transaction from there?
Thanks,
Nick
P.S. love the plug-in and love the S3 integration…
Yes, using WordPress as a back-end ordering system would be a quick & easy solution.
Glad you like the S3 Integration
Thanks.
Is there a way whereby a customer clicks on the Buy button on the static site and it automatically passes the click through to an eStore button on WordPress?
I want to minimize the number of clicks a customer needs to click…
I suppose you could place a button image on the static site, containg a hard coded link to the same query string that would’ve been generated if a real eStore button were used.
What do you mean by “same query string”?
Would I use “[wp_eStore_buy_now:product_id:7:end]” for example?
Hmmm, I gave this some more thought…
How about creating the WordPress order form on the WordPress side of your site and then placing it into an iFrame on the static site?
Aha, that should work. I’ll give it a try!
Thanks,
Nick
How do I get the shopping cart widget to only show up on one page on my static site? My problem is that the cart is on all page.
Try the above advice and only stick an iFrame on the pages you want it to appear.
