Tagged: blacklist
I’d like to restrict the registration to just emails that end in .edu and I’m wondering if that’s possible?
What file would I have to edit to make this happen? Thanks in advance!
You might be able to use eMember’s email blacklist option for this. Go to WP eMember -> Members -> Manage Blacklist then specify the domains that you don’t want to allow registration like the following:
@hotmail.com;@yahoo.com;@gmail.com
This will make it to where no one will be able to register using any hotmail, yahoo, gmail account.
Hello,
I try to block some email adresses.
When i try with those emails, it says correctly on the frontend that email is in blacklist but account is created and works correctly.
How to avoid account creation for blacklisted email adresses ?
Thank you
Dimitri
Hi Dimitri, A bug got introduced in the pattern matching part of the blacklist feature. We have addressed it and sent you an updated copy of the plugin. Please test that out.
