Please check into.
1. I can see the page in multiple browsers. The APR cookie is suppose to limit to only the browser paying for the video.
Thanks
John
April 20, 2012 at 11:48 pm #44299PeterMemberHi,
I believe that the APR feature will allow anyone clicking on the “encrypted” link (as long as it hasn’t expired) to access your video. If someone tries to go directly to the URL without clikcingh the encrypted link, they will not be able to access the content between the APR shortcodes.
For instance when I clicked on the link you gave above, I was NOT able to see the content because the link had expired.
See this page for more info:

April 21, 2012 at 12:47 am #44300janticoMemberHello Peter,
Thanks for you help. The problem is that I have purchased the product many times and the link has never shown me the content on this page: [http://www.saai.com/index.php/john-simone-video-305/]
The content is between these tags:
[wp_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=unexpired]
[/wp_eStore_APR]
Somehow the cookie, maybe is not being saved. I do see cookies enabled and other pages cookies are being saved from other sites.
If you are willing please make a purchase here, it is only one cent even though the text says $35:

Sincerely,
John
April 21, 2012 at 1:03 am #44301wzpModeratorWhen the encrypted link is clicked, and the product URI uses the APRTP scheme, a cookie is issued to the browser that clicked on the encrypted link; and the browser is redirected to the specified page.
When the specified page is loaded, either because of redirection or bookmarking, the content between the APRTP shortcodes will only be displayed if the previously mentioned APRTP cookie is present.
If you can see the content, when you think you shouldn’t be able to, it means…
1. The content you are seeing is outside the shortcode, OR…
2. The last browser session was not completely closed, causing the cookie to still “be there.”
Some browsers, like Chrome, will not delete cookies until ALL instances of open browser windows are closed.
The best way to properly demonstrate the effectiveness of the APRTP shortcodes is with 2 computers. Use the Admin Functions page to create the encrypted link. Then click on it. Bookmark the redirected page and then send the URL to the second computer. Try opening the protected page on the second computer without going through the encrypted link, and it will fail.
April 21, 2012 at 1:23 am #44302janticoMemberHi, I have not been able to ever see the content between the tags. My problem is not seeing the content, it is that i am not able to see the content that was paid for. I hope I am explaining this well enough.
Sincerely,
John
April 21, 2012 at 1:42 am #44303wzpModeratorWhat do you have in the product URL field?
It should look something like this…
aprtp://your site.com/productpage
April 21, 2012 at 2:43 am #44304janticoMemberDigital Product URL:
aprtp://www.saai.com/index.php/john-simone-video-305
April 21, 2012 at 4:08 am #44305wzpModerator8(
That doesn’t look like a valid WordPress permalink, is it? Is index.php a file?

The below message was sent via email today, maybe it will help to find resolution. Any more help today would be greatly appreciated. I have to find a solution for the video purchase today.
Sincerely,
John
Please fully read this email as it will explain everything you need to know
to address any issue that maybe occuring (if there are any)!
The post payment verification for a payment failed. This could happen for
one of the following reasons:
1. The fund for the payment have not cleared in PayPal yet (no need to do
anything as the digital product will be delivered once the fund clears).
2. Someone maybe trying to scam a purchase! (no worries… WP eStore got
your back
3. You have made a mistake somewhere (please see the failure reason
section below to find out more details about this).
===== Exact Reason for This Failure =====
Here are some more details for the exact cause of this transaction
failure…
Funds have not been cleared yet. Product(s) will be delivered when the
funds clear!
===== How to solve the ‘Funds have not cleared’ or ‘Pending payment
received’ notification =====
If you have received a pending payment meaning the funds have not cleared
for this payment and you don’t know the reason then this link should help

April 22, 2012 at 6:53 pm #44309wzpModeratorI think the PayPal message is not related to the APR issue, simply because you were able to receive an encrypted link. Please check you email for my last message to you.
April 22, 2012 at 7:21 pm #44310janticoMemberI sent access credentials to your email. I am online now, please let me know of any additional items you need from me. I will try to provide what you need quickly.

John
April 22, 2012 at 9:49 pm #44311wzpModeratorSometimes, it’s the subtle things in life that mess us up…
Here is the enhanced debug log from your site, when trying to use APR with product 1…
[04/22/2012 9:35 PM] – Status : APRTP URI request=aprtp://www.saai.com/william-longbrake-video-355
[04/22/2012 9:35 PM] – Status : Cookie name:http://www.saai.com/william-longbrake-video-355
[04/22/2012 9:35 PM] – SUCCESS : $_COOKIE[f8e336ccb25486846c7bb528ceeec275] => 17TcIpDuMn20uA%3D%3D
[04/22/2012 9:35 PM] – Status : Dispatching APRTP URL=http://www.saai.com/william-longbrake-video-355
[04/22/2012 9:35 PM] – Status : Cookie name:http://www.saai.com/william-longbrake-video-355/
[04/22/2012 9:35 PM] – FAILURE : $_COOKIE[e07f7d91a4ed4b31bd82109e78c4f6ef] not detected!
Please pay close attention to the “Cookie name” status messages.
The first one uses the contents from the product URL:
The second one, uses the redirected URL that WordPress “wants to use” based on the WordPress -> Settings -> Permalinks setting:
You have 2 choices; either add the trailing “/” to APRTP URI in your products, or change the permalink structure of WordPress to not tack on that trailing slash. Personally, I’d change the permalink structure, rather than have to remember to add the slash.
P.S. Shortcode nesting for your “FMP” plugin doesn’t seem to be working.
April 22, 2012 at 10:12 pm #44312janticoMemberWow, I can see the page content with the exception of the video. I truly appreciate all your time helping resolve the pay per view troubles.
I am unfortunately, still not seeing the video play on the page. I can see the other content, which is progress.
Should I use a different video streaming plugin than this: [FMP]http://www.saai.com/10-12insvid-s/saai2.mp4[/FMP] ?
Thanks again,
John
