You don’t have to modify code to get this quantity field. When you configure the product you can check the “Display Quantity Field” checkbox for that product and it will show a quantity text box next to the “Add to Cart” button so your customers can specify the quantity amount. If you do not have this option in eStore then please request and eStore update (this feature was added recently).
