Just a quick heads up. I went into the mysql database and just removed the offending records from the wp_wp_eStore_sales_tbl manually. It fixes the issue.
Not a big thing, but something you may want to keep on the back burner for the next code release – removal of these table entries when a customer purchase is deleted from the manage customers page.
